This isn't the State, obviously. Matter of fact, I've had a devil of a time finding State clips online at all, and am going to have to find a new title for "Mallory finds comedy clips, generally from white male citizens of the British Commonwealth Mondays" soon enough.

Two things:

1. There are plenty of entries in the "fake reality show" category of comedy, some of them (Queen of Jordan, The Joe Schmo Show, Total Drama Island) better than others (Drawn Together*); the Burning Love series tops them all, primarily thanks to Michael Ian Black's hideously accurate portrayal of an inexplicably smug, dead-eyed dating-show host.

We haven't left the Kids in the Hall behind for good, never fear, but I'm ready to throw some of The State into our Monday mix.
