          Jason Isbell is a great live show. Saw him here in Chicago this past January. You will not be disappointed, especially now that Southeastern exists.

    Can we just talk about TMBG for a minute, because I saw them live this year and it was one of the greatest nights of my life. They had SOCK PUPPETS.

       They’re so wonderful. I’ve seen them twice but they didn’t have sock puppets! I love it.

       I was in the audience for the taping of the live performance segment of Gigantic: A Tale of Two Johns, and it was an amazing experience. There were some problems, so people had to wait outside for a couple extra hours before it even started. We were all were camped out on the sidewalk, getting to know each other, going on pizza runs and sharing with each other. After we got inside it took longer than expected also, and there was a lot of downtime between sets while we sat on the floor and drank water out of paper cups. But nobody complained. Because we were all just so happy to be there and TMBG fans are the best people.

    Really, I loved the whole unplugged set, but this get’s bonus points from the set for Eddie having both taken down his amazingly beautiful hair and removed the jacket.
