Thanks to last week, all I can think about now is the Clone High episode where Joan starts hearing God. Jesus saves, and so will we, on California kings all weekend long! (Pokes some guy) If you can find a lower price, God will give you a bed for free! (Presses a mattress) Oh, feel it! Firm! But not too firm, just like the Lord!

Now my reading of all deities is that they’re intensely bored and frustrated by humanity’s inability to communicate with them, and when they find someone who can they just pester the shit out of them. Sort of like when I meet someone who gets all my jokes about mur-ders.

Joan of Arc is one of my favorite people ever. I was (and still am) obsessed with her.

That being said, I feel this is very accurate.

(Also, the art is so pretty!)

Next thing you know, god starts waking Joan up before an important day with her clothes all laid out and a small turtle on her bed, à la Sherlock & Joan Watson in Elementary. The turtle will have a note taped to its shell. The note will only have Joan’s name on it, repeated in varying sizes across the whole page.

“Jesus Christ, what do you want?”

“I’m glad you asked me that.”

    “Aaaaaugh!”

-the moment when you realize exactly who’s talking to you in your head.
