Ouch. The “maybe if I am very very quiet one” hits a bit close to home. …not that I’m still suffering from the same darn crush or anything. Nope. Not that. Definitely not gazing longingly at the top of anyone’s head across the library.

I keep reminding myself that it isn’t even particularly attractive as far as tops of heads longingly glimpsed over the top of a row of computers go. But it’s not helping. Ughhhhh.

Anxiously waiting for instructions on what to Do when the Feeling comes. Especially the one where you just sit down at the computer SHORTLY and suddenly the sun is rising outside.

“If I am very very quiet, maybe he will think about me.” –me, about the boy. And just after I thought he loved me back, too.

    Also, cf, “[t]issues”.

    This week’s cartoons drew heartsblood.

(PS Hat-tip to 6pm…1am. Too true, every single day.)

I am literally reading this for the first time at 4:40 AM without having gone to bed, a half-eaten bowl of some sort of food sitting next to the computer
