I’m really feeling the ‘things seen at night’ one. Why does the dirty clothes hamper in the corner matter so much? Because it’s nighttime.

I ran away from my closet today because a sweater swung in a threatening manner.

My house has been calling for me to come back since even before I was fully out the door.

Also, a resounding YES EXACTLY to the My voice/Your voice cartoon.

“I don’t want your last name. Can I have your sense of entitlement instead?” Ha ha – perfect.

Yep. My boyfriend has told me many times that he doesn’t “believe” in hyphenation.

At least they’re not as soul-crushingly accurate as anything Mallory writes. These cartoons make me say, out loud, “Awwww, Liana!” in a totally charmed voice.

Have you seen the cartoons of Judy Horacek? They’re very whimsical like yours, and I think you would like them.

Pretty much verbatim what I said to my husband before we got married. We decided to take each other's surname as a middle name instead. Nine months on, his change of name forms are still gathering dust in the junk drawer and I'm still listening to "Confidence" self-hypnosis apps.

The day Charlie got his golden PERMISSION ticket was the last day anyone saw Grandpa Joe alive.
