The Most Soothing Video About A Little Aroma Diffuser

I’m not normally a minimalist enthusiast, but I am all about watching this three-minute video of a small aroma diffuser at work. Yeah, it’s just – the full three minutes are just quiet aroma diffusing. And the music kind of sounds like the song that’s playing in the Chamber of Sages in Ocarina of Time, which I am extremely for.

Oh! And I actually got one, and I massively love it, and I kind of want to get another one so I don’t have to keep lugging it from the bedroom to the living room every time I want cold lavender steam pumped at my face. Products: sometimes they are great!

    Muji <3

I got those ridiculous little ceramic ring toothbrush holders, one in salmon pink and one in mustard yellow, and they are very nearly my favorite objects of all time.

I want one so much! I am also a very big fan of flames, though, so idk.

In this same “calming video” vein, I recently found out that there’s a community on Instagram where people (bakers, mostly, but also regular people?) decorate tiny cookies with intricate frosting/sprinkle/glitter details, and it’s all I’ve been watching since Saturday. This (https://www.instagram.com/cookiecutterkingdom/) page was the very first one saw and it’s fantastic.

Side note: I also found out through Instagram that I find tattoo removal vids soothing. What a world!

And this is one of the reasons they are my favourite band (he rickrolled us in London a few years back).

I keep almost buying one of these. Fellow Toasties, I ask for your counsel. Pros? Cons? Worth the price tag? Favorite scents?

I also keep almost buying one of these! I’m tempted because I love Muji, but I’ve also found aroma diffusers for closer to $30. Seconding the ask for counsel.

I have two of the larger Muji diffusers, one for the bedroom and one for the living room. Totally worth the price tag! Pros are: your home smelling like a fancy spa, combating winter-time dryness, and the soothing glow of the two lamp settings (soft and softest).

There is only one con I have experienced, which is the diffusers must be rinsed out and wiped down periodically or the fancy spa smell is replaced by a wet dog kind of musty odor. So, the con is more me being lazy about cleaning.

Favorite scents include: lemon, lavender, bergamot, and tea tree. I also like mixing scents; lavender plus tea tree makes for a great sleep scent.

Yes, extremely worth having one, but you can buy them on eBay for under $20 and I’m convinced they are precisely the same.

Bonus points if the BB-8 version occasionally whistled and chirped at you cutely. (In a soothing robot voice, of course.)

I love the bit at around 2:18 with the Roomba quietly cleaning away in the background. Dammit, now I want a diffuser AND a Roomba.

This thing is going to be my bag once my Himalayan salt lamp obsession dies down. My aunt sent me one and I’ve since felt compelled to put one in every room in my house. It’s like the first one is a hypnotoad that needs me to replicate.

I JUST got the "URPOWER 2nd version" essential oil diffuser on Amazon and I'm obsessed. Last night I diffused 1 drop patchouli, 1 drop bergamot, and 1 drop ylang ylang and it was heavenly. DO IT!

I own this! and it is fantastic. I put it near where I am lying down and left it breeze lavender-scented cool steam in my face.
