In Fry and Laurie Reunited, he says that he's always been relieved that he never had feelings for Hugh Laurie because it would have ruined everything. (Rabid fangirl alert: I was raised on Jeeves and Wooster.)
Jeeves and Wooster are the absolute best and rabid fangirling is the correct life choice. I'm almost constantly rereading one or another of books. So satisfying! Wodehouse just hit the mark perfectly with that series. And Fry and Laurie did a wonderful job bringing them to life!
