You’re probably not interested. Sorry for bothering you. [carefully studies nails] If you’re, like, not busy that weekend, or whatever, you can learn more about it here.

No big deal. (It’s the weekend of April 18 [not that you care {you probably already have plans}]).

I don't know, I hear that Mallory can be a little weird sometimes...
So who wants to buy me a plane ticket.

Well, it will be a short panel, because we all know women can't be funny. Something to do with the uterus, I don't know.
But I'm alllllll the way down in San Diego.

Dude. What. Don't wanna drive? Get thee to Oceanside. Metrolink Weekend Pass, all day ten bucks. Or take Amtrak. Then the Expo Line.
Wonderful use of parentheses! Wish I could go. Man, warmth *and* funny women? Heaven!
hWARGH Mallory AND Issa Rae?!?! SWITCHING CONTINENTS BRB
If I weren't already scheduled to be playing nerd music in Toronto that weekend, I would CANCEL ALL MY PLANS AND FLY TO LOS ANGELES.
You get to hang out with Issa Rae!!!!!!!!!
But, but, but, Mallory, I was already in LA two weeks ago! Couldn't they have had this then? #inefficient
I actually know (read: met a couple times and once crashed a house party belonging to) Ann Friedman, and of course everything Mallory does is glorious, so obviously this entire event was crafted for me and thank you for that.
I've never attended the Festival of Books... until now.
*tears*

Sometimes, weekend grad school schedule isn't awesome.

You are all required to go to this for me, and report back with pictures and awesomeness.
