Hi guys! Here are some of my personal favourites you had better read or re-read at the current time.
* Really into our Downton series, and I learned a ton from this last one!
* We finished Middlemarch (sad) but had a great final discussion (un-sad.)
* I cannot stress how firmly I agree with Mallory about the iniquity of plants, both house and outdoor.
* The new Hey Ladies, with the inspiring tale of a freed Gracie.
* Really fascinating: the article about LM Montgomery’s Presbyterianism.
* Voluntourism, minus being a Bluth.
* Finally, our first and last ever weekend post, on the Grantland disaster.
Guys, plants are great, ok. Yuca is amazing. You guys are great too, but I am having to stop myself from writing a super-long ode to yuca right now. I am feeling very conflicted in my heart. This is no way to end the week.

I CONFUSED YUCA WITH YUCCA PLEASE DISREGARD.
Because of you, I’ve now learned that there is a difference between yucca and yuca. At the Peruvian BBQ place I love dearly, the fries are usually referred to as “yucca” fries. 🙁

There was an enormous yucca planted where I now live, and I brought a small one my father had potted. I hated my dad’s plant bc it was always stabbing me in the leg and actually drew blood more than once, so I put it in the ground where I thought it would be out of the way. A few weeks ago I had a handyman with a negative IQ here breaking more than he fixed, and he tromped into the garden and was promptly stabbed in the leg. I have a lot more sympathy for that plant now.

I just discovered this blog #late to the party – and I like it but I have trouble reading it on my ipad. When I click through the article always runs under the adverts and I can’t read the whole thing. That sucks, I want to know the rest of the 10 podcasts and what a female author has to say about sexism and self-promotion.
