#3: I bought a really great romper thing at Target on clearance the other day and wore it to work. I didn’t really feel much like romping, but it did make me feel pretty awesome.

Penguin, the reason that you don’t feel like romping in that romper is because you have a long torso. So, every time you move, the crotch of that romper digs its way further into your penguin nethers, Don’t sit down too quickly.

Signed, a long-torsoed lady who learned about rompers the hard and chafed way

This also applies to large breasted women. We fill out the front of the romper altogether too well, and the romper crotch starts its journey northward.

Yes! Thank you! Rompers, pants, occasionally swimsuits…the Interrupting Crotch Seam is real, and it is dangerous.

I have a special appreciation for tights that have gusseted crotches for exactly this reason.

I am still of the firm opinion that rompers do not belong on anyone whose age (in years) exceeds single digits.

    Come at me, bro!

I felt this way for a very long time until I planned to go with a friend to an amusement park on a triple digit summer day. Rompers: can be like knee-length dresses EXCEPT you don’t have to worry about them flying up and showing off your nethers to everyone on a rollercoaster.

In hindsight I could’ve worn a maxi dress except I am 5’2″ and didn’t want to look like I was swallowed up by a bolt of fabric.

That is one way to prevent my nethers from being shown off but on the flipside I can’t imagine trying to wear that on a triple digit summer day. ^^; Bleech the sweat!

This is a public service announcement for short girls: I am 5’2″ and I look consistently fabulous in maxi dresses. They are easy and comfortable and flattering and totally do not make me look like I was swallowed up by a bolt of fabric, and I own several that I can wear with flats without having had them hemmed. There’s no need to avoid maxi dresses just because you’re short, I promise!

Is it ok if I am using it as a painting outfit? I want to wear a sort of onesie when I paint instead of old tattered workout stuff in case I have to go grab lunch. You know what, i don’t care, I’m not single digits I don’t need to ask permission. MORE ROMPERS FOR ME.

More more moooooooooooooore! This was perfect. #1 is a scenario my Deep Soul recognizes; #1 is my heart’s song.

Wow, # 3 pretty much sums up every experience I have ever had with a romper.
But that’s only part of why I’m here….
I’m new to commenting (but not reading!) on here, but my sister told me that there’s a toast group in Switzerland? This is amazing news because that’s where I am too… Does anyone know about this? Or want to direct me to a more appropriate place for such inquiries?

The second one, I would definitely give that person a book deal. Dramedic Harry Potter graphic novel! That alone is enough. Not to mention with anthropomorphized foxes.

This reminds me that we need a new set of Toast t-shirts. (Please, Nick, for the holidays?) I’d buy any of these three.
