Hey, redesign folk: the links here & open thread & site-wide used to generally open in a new tab & now they take me away from the current page to the link.
I can train myself to right-click, but for now, it’s screwing with my habit of clicking all the links as I read so I can go to those tabs (Safari on Mac) when I get to them.
If the change is not deliberate, can ‘open in new tab’ be considered for linking?
On a mac, you can also hold down “command” and click for new tabs, which is a little faster than right-clicking. As a workaround in case this isn’t changed.
I’ll see what we can do!
