It’s been awhile since I’ve seen it, but I don’t think so. They do kiss, and it takes up a lot of screen time and is important, and yet somehow has the same 80s movie Cloak of Plausible Deniability that Idgie and Ruth have on. I remember overhearing adult family members talk about both of those movies when they came out and reassuring each other that the women were just really good friends. God, we don’t have to sexualize everything; sometimes women just have really close women friends that they kiss and share a life with!
It is outrageous how the liberal media insists on sexualizing ladies making out with each other.

I never read the book, but man, that makes me feel a lot better about always just assuming they were in the movie.

Late to the party, but I would like to submit Kelly Jones and Annabelle Fritton from the recent St Trinian’s movies. The second movie is GARBAGE but worth skimming for all the scenes where Annabelle wishes Kelly were there because Kelly would know what to do because Kelly is the greatest, and all the scenes where Kelly comes to the rescue.
I’m just curious, are you taking suggestions for potential Femslash Friday couples? Because I don’t want to overstep my boundaries, but I have a few great ideas!
