Shaw, our stalwart young lad, is in first grade. He is the son of a lifelong Doctor Who nerd. Despite never having seen the show himself, Shaw decided to dress like each (pre-Capaldi) Doctor over the course of eleven days. He utilized whatever he could find in his wardrobe to create the costumes. While his father was writing this bio, Shaw had dressed himself as a sailor in order to reenact the adventures of a the World War II era submarine, USS Bowfin. I mean, I’m sorry, this is the best thing ever in the history of our world or Gallifrey. Shaw is the best hope of our time.
That’s it. The little sons and daughters of my friends and family will ALL be receiving child-size bow ties and seersucker sports coats for their next birthdays. Get ready, kids.
The number of things that impress and delight me about this post are too many to count, but let’s just start with the fact that this kid has an EXCELLENT wardrobe.

This reminds me of last summer when my 10 year old sister walked around in her homemade Thor costume mainly fashioned from black clothes, duct tape, and a red sheet. GOOD TIMES.

Daw, he’s so dang cute, especially as 10! This is where I’ll add that the anniversary special was my introduction to the fact that Converse are known in the UK as “sand shoes.” Sorry, Brits, but that’s just bizarre.
