We don’t DO thanksgiving here in the good old, rainy old united kingdom, so this copy of Dad Magazine will sadly stay on the racks.
However, my birthday was about a week and a bit ago, so in my dad’s *personal copy* of Dad magazine, there are these articles.
“How to blame your daughter for how old you feel.” “The Shop: You should go there for EVERYTHING” “Your Daughters Friends: They’re all still 12, right?”

Haha my dad has had the same style of glasses frames for as long as I’ve been alive.

My dad is in Kentucky at my sisters for Thanksgiving, but based on the conversation I had with him on the phone yesterday, I offer:
“10 Reasons I Get the Deer Made into More Ground Venison than Venison Roasts”

And now I’m laughing forever because my dad apparently met a guy who’s down there but lives in Manhattan, and he gave the guy my phone number. WHAT IS HAPPENING WHO IS THIS MAN AND WHAT HAS HE DONE WITH MY FATHER

“Catch some V’s” is the story of my Dad’s life.

Mine too. There are few things Pa Jinx loves more than a pre-bedtime nap on the couch while watching (“watching”) a British detective show or the 10pm local news.

This is really my mom’s thing more than my dad, but she’s great at it. And then I have to wake her up to tell her who won on Project Runway or whatever.
SeaVineyard+3
Mine 3, but I often wake him up because he snores so loud I can’t hear the TV, which is an impressive feat given that he’s losing his hearing and keeps the volume turned up to 11
mbculver+3
This is a general guy thing – I’m constantly turning down the volume on the TV and the car radio after my husband’s been there.

My dad is actually the opposite, but to the same effect- he’s an excellent dresser and quite into his clothes, but very picky about it and no one who’s not him can seem to ever get it right. We got him a shirt he actually liked once, but we had to be in Paris to do it.

On one hand, having a Fashion Dad sounds great; on the other hand, having your presents rejected blows.
tragicallyludicrous+3
It actually is! Mostly because when we go shopping he’s willing to buy me a lot of stuff, and knows what looks good and how and etc. But it’s so hard to shop for him I basically don’t. I think I might get him some fancy orange chocolate or something this year, he does really like orange chocolate.

Maybe such a fancy dad would appreciate a small but awesome accessory? Hard Graft does a lot of lovely (and expensive) things – their felt & leather wallets are so gorgeous ( http://www.hardgraft.com/collections/wallets/prod… ). Either that, or only gift cards to expensive menswear shops!

My dad basically only wears things from JC Penney or free shirts he gets from donating blood. Plus mandals. Dad fashion!

My dad wears cargo shorts, socks pulled up to mid-shin, and sporty sandals.
