What a curious-looking vintage toast rack I found for you this week! A colour so rarely seen in modern life. It’s like a sickly caterpillar, is it not?
Monday, Mallory’s Patek Philippe piece about intergenerational murder pretty much carried the universe on its back.
On Tuesday, I had really specific views about Sherlock, and there was shouting about Snoop Lion:
ALSO HE HANGS OUT WITH MARTHA STEWART
HE DOESN’T CARE WHAT YOU THINK
YOU ARE NOT A FACTOR IN ANY OF HIS DECISIONS
HE WILL BE PURCHASING PAISLEY PANTS
AND HE DOESN’T EVEN CARE THAT IT MAKES HIS HIPS LOOK WIDE
HE MIGHT EVEN GET THEM IN CAPRIS
OR CULOTTES.
HE’S GOING TO PURCHASE PAISLEY CULOTTES AND A MOCHA CHIP MILKSHAKE, AND HE DOESN’T WANT YOUR OPINION ON THAT.
Wednesday, we published some truly gripping journalism about ANTM, and white people couldn’t leave well enough alone. Did we mention the new Mary J. Breen piece?
On Thursday, Carrie Hill Wilner took our breath away with this, and Greg got busted. And then Chris Kimball creeped everyone right out.
And today is Friday. Read everything.

You know what else happened this week? On Wednesday night Mallory met-up with me and she bought me whiskey AND a beer and then we ate expensive delicious cheeseburgers together then we stopped at Mcdonalds to try their ridiculous holiday pie thing BUT THEN when I hugged her goodbye I meant to give a semi-conscious love pat on the back or shoulder (as I usually do) BUT I MISSED and she goes “Did you just pat my boob?” and I was mortified. We text-joked about it afterward but she could’ve justifiably murdered me. Let me know if I’m sharing too much real-world shit / feel free to delete this comment, admin.
Never apologize for sharing accidental boob pats.
My guess is that the toast rack is either Carltonware or Royal Winton. But it’s an educated guess.
