Kickin’ It: Freaked-Out Behavior Both Chronic And Recent

Please don’t feel bad about yourself if you only listened to about five minutes of the Iliad live-read. It’s a lot, you know? Just re-watch “Checkin’ In” instead. You’re still a good person.

Honestly, I think it’s better than the Monorail song. It’s perfect, and only just below the Planet of the Apes musical from season 7. It may single-handedly bring season 9 into the classic pantheon.

WAIT AND I WOULD ALSO PUT “See My Vest” and “Love-Matic Grandpa” above “Spring In Springfield.”

This is the Internet ranking I have been waiting for all my life without realizing it.
Also, Mr. Plow: Homer’s jingle, or Barney’s duet with Linda Ronstadt?

Both. Both is good. (And don’t forget the Spanish-language version of “Plow King”!)

Thank you for this. I will ruminate deeply on it and also look for a way to get this playlist onto my mobile devices.

What about Who Needs the Kwik-e-mart? Weirdly of all these I’d say it gets randomly stuck in my head most often.

Also one of my favorites. I love the ending, where Apu is on the roof. In the original, Homer then says, “he lied to us, though song”. This gets cut out in syndication, and I love that line.

I have a soft spot for See My Vest cause I sing whenever I have to change over the wardrobe for the summer/winter

It’s also the only song I can reasonably sing in key

Well, I thought bees would give me the worst earworm of the day, but oh my god, I was wrong, it was this all along.

You finally made a monkey out of me.
