I am literally buried in tote sorting, so I am taking the day off from the link roundup and presenting you with an open thread instead! (This is your head’s up that I’m putting the new totes up on Wednesday morning at 9am Eastern Time.)

This particular open thread is in honour of my lovely stepmother Amanda (or “New Mommy,” as I call her) who beat cancer this year and just got her port taken out, and reads The Toast every day.
